Mission Statement

Friend in Me pairs kids with disabilities with volunteer students for online games and conversations through zoom on a weekly basis to develop long term friendships and provide kids with disabilities with social opportunities.

Description

Friend in Me has been in operation for over a year. We have served over 300 kids through this program and are always looking for great volunteers! Volunteers can be located anywhere in the United States and must be between the ages of 8 and 18. No experience required--just a desire to help and have fun! Community service credit is available for this activity.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 8

• Orientation or Training

• We hope volunteers will want to stay with us long term to develop lasting friendships with their buddies, but there is no minimum time commitment

• The best volunteers are patient, kind and ready to have fun!

This is the current schedule for Friend in Me Zooms until further notice. All times are in PST.‍
-Fridays: 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
-Saturdays: 10:30 am - 11:00 am
-Sundays: 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
